Ancient Barnacles Found On Mars?

Another interesting discovery which i came across while looking through the Mars Opportunity data files, this time something that resembles two fossilized crustaceans fused to a martian rock.

As NASA have previously stated, a third of the martian surface was once covered in water, therefore its reasonable to assume that the martian water which once flowed, could have hosted life, and these crustaceans look like barnacles to me.

Barnacles attach themselves to rocks, whales, boats, piers, and anything else they come into contact with during their free-swimming larval stage.

The two most common barnacles are either goose barnacles, like the ones pictured above, or acorn barnacles which prefer attaching themselves to sea life, mainly whales etc.

As you can see in the image comparison, they look very similar and could provide further evidence that Mars did indeed have past life on it.

Take a moment to view my previous discoveries concerning fossilized anomalies in the video below, its very compelling evidence, and in my opinion is conclusive proof that mars once had an abundance of life in its distant past.
