This artifact was posted on a popular paranormal website which claims its ancient martian technology of some kind, they also claim the image has since been deleted from the archives by NASA, which is false, i found the image in less than ten minutes.
I don't believe this resembles advanced Martian tech, but it is interesting.
For me this artifact looks fashioned in some way as though it has been carved by someone, it also stands out in the overall image, which is a good indicator of a possible artifact.
I have gently processed the image and blurred the background so you can get a clearer view of the object.
As you can see the object does look designed, note the curved edge which appears to have been folded over.
It could be a decorative remnant from a building or statue and could offer further proof of past life on the red planet.
